This post is long overdue, but here were my favorite moments of New York:
6. Dunkin’ Donuts - I swear there isn’t one in California so the commercials I see on tv are a web of lies! But I did finally get some, even if it was on the plane ride home.
5. Mood - It isn’t as exciting as what you see Project Runway, but the elevator ride up was the highlight. Nothing beats an old-fashioned elevator (sliding doors and all).
4. F.A.O. Schwarz - This place was amazing! I think it was four stories high, filled with candy and toys. I found it ironic that I didn’t buy any candy because I have a major sweet tooth, but I did convince my brother to buy me a Hello Kitty shirt!
3. Ladurée - I was told this place was pretty famous for their macarons and since I had never had one before, I figured they couldn’t be all that bad. Of the flavors I tried, my favorite were vanilla and black current & violet.
2. Alice In Wonderland Statue - My brother was sweet and put this on our agenda as a surprise for me since he knew of my fondness for anything Alice. I saw other tourists climb up on the statue and they made it look so easy, but it’s harder than it looks; maybe I’m just weak and a klutz.
1. Breakfast At Tiffany’s - Yes, just like the movie! I know it’s cheesy, but I just had to do it!
