Merely Sweets. Yum.

It’s in Downtown Brea and it’s the cutest, little sweets shop! Of the flavor macarons I tried, I liked their PB&J the best and their chocolate peanut butter cupcake.. might I dare say.. could rival that of Frosted’s?.. well almost. My friends, however, agreed to disagree; but their opinions don’t really matter all that much. Haha.

& as this post is so fitting, I’d like to make a quick day of birth shout-out to Vicente Lady Vincent. ☺

• Pommes Frites - Honey Mustard Mayo, Peanut Satay & Vietnamese Pineapple Mayo
• Artisanal* - Chicken Under A Brick & A Strawberry Arnold Palmer
• Peanut Butter & Co* - The Elvis (Maple Peanut Butter, Banana & Bacon)
• Carnegie Deli - Pastrami Sandwich
• Fort Worth - Mushroom & Pepperoni Butter Crust Deep Dish Pizza
• Carve - Mozzarella, Basil & Tomato Pizza
• Nathan’s Famous - Red Onion Hot Dog, Corn Dog On A Stick & Crinkle-Cut Fries
• Shake Shack* - Shack Burger, Fries & Root Beer On Tap (I don’t recommend the Shack Sauce)
• 5 Napkin Burger - Ahi Tuna Burger, Fries & A Sad, Cherryless Shirley Temple (..honestly?!)

… And that’s just naming a few. Great.. Now I made myself hungry.
